Be The Change
More than 70% of women in federal custody are mothers and only 5% of those children remain in their original homes. 80% of women are re-incarcerated for poverty related offences.
With your contribution, you help women and gender-diverse people secure stable and safe housing while overcoming the conditions that may have contributed to their criminalization or incarceration. EFryNB helps people overcome multiple and complex challenges with the added stigma of being criminalized – challenges of poverty, trauma, mental health issues, or unemployment.
Help women and gender-diverse people become economically self-sufficient, develop a sense of self-empowerment, develop an improved sense of well-being, and become strong contributors to their communities.
