Weekend Stay: September 13-15, 2024
Location: Sea View Cottage Lighthouse in St. Martin’s.
Purpose: All proceeds go toward meeting residents’ needs at EFryNB’s My Place community-based therapeutic housing program which supports women, gender-diverse individuals and their children in 15 furnished apartments.
Beneficiaries: This fundraiser will help residents with recovery paths, finding stability to return to the workforce or resume educational pursuits as well as reestablishing family connections while creating lasting skills and supports to remain in community. There are many successes including a recidivism rate among graduates and non-graduates of 12% – compared to the national and provincial rates which average close to 50% each.

Rebuilding Lives through Record Suspension!
We’re back and better than ever! Join us for an amazing day filled with delicious food, awesome people, and a fantastic cause. We’re firing up the grills to support individuals impacted by criminalization as they work towards a fresh start.

Location: Peel Plaza by the Saint John Arts Centre
Purpose: All proceeds support EFryNB’s Record Suspension Program, which has helped 54 people be approved for a record suspension since its launch in fall of 2019. This removes the barriers to employment, volunteer work, further education, even housing.
Beneficiaries: This fundraiser will help vulnerable women and gender-diverse people impacted by criminalization wishing to apply for a record suspension to clear their way to employment and to raise awareness of EFryNB and its work. Application fees to apply for a record suspension combined with combined with additional costs can add up to at least $450. There are no sources of external funding or grants to support prospective applicants.

Event Overview: Join us for an elegant evening at Elizabeth Fry New Brunswick’s first annual Black and White Gala. This special fundraising event will feature a sumptuous four-course dinner , silent auction and a lively dance, all set against the backdrop of the beautiful Riverside Golf and Country Club. Rachel Cave of CBC will be our esteemed MC for the night and Dennis Hunt, DJ, will provide the music.
